Progress report on pilot test of model stand classification using CART

Test data set: 100 plots; data taken at time resolution of 25 yrs; for 500 yrs
Total observations 100 plots x 4 files/century x 5 centuries = 2000 observations

The following table links to figures (cluster and CART trees) and results (Splus CART objects) we have for
25 years, i.e. 100 observations
25+50 years, 200 observations
25+50+75 + ...+ 200 years, 800 observations
.... and so on.

Eliminated the monticino metric using minimum (because does not comply with desired metric property)
we kept Monticino's distmax, distavg
s+prgclu.txt is splus program which includes CART following Magdiel Ablan's method
